Fiberglass Geogrid

High-strength, low-elongation geogrid for pavement reinforcement and crack-control applications.

Fiberglass geogrid is designed for reinforcement of asphalt and pavement structures, including rehabilitation works, road and bridge surfaces, airport pavements and other applications requiring tensile reinforcement.

Product Overview

Fiberglass geogrid is a grid-structured geosynthetic designed to provide tensile reinforcement with low elongation. It is primarily used in pavement and infrastructure applications where reinforcement is required to help distribute tensile stresses and control crack propagation.

Typical applications include rehabilitation of existing concrete and asphalt pavements, airport pavement maintenance, road and bridge pavement reinforcement, embankments, riverbanks and slope-protection works. It can also be incorporated into pavement systems where reinforcement is required to help limit reflection cracking.

Key Features

High tensile strength

Available strength grades from 25 to 120 kN/m provide tensile reinforcement for pavement and infrastructure applications.

Low elongation

The technical specification limits elongation at break to 4% or less in both longitudinal and transverse directions.

Open-grid structure

The grid structure allows integration within pavement layers while providing tensile reinforcement across the treated area.

Pavement reinforcement

Designed for use in rehabilitation and reinforcement of asphalt and concrete pavement systems.

Standard and self-adhesive types

Available in standard and self-adhesive configurations for different installation requirements.
