PVC Waterproofing Membrane

Polyvinyl chloride waterproofing membrane for tunnels, underground structures, hydraulic works and other civil-engineering waterproofing applications.

Manufactured from PVC resin with selected additives and stabilizers, the membrane combines tensile performance, flexibility and heat-weldability for large-area waterproofing and seepage-control systems.

Product Overview

PVC waterproofing membrane is a polymeric waterproofing sheet manufactured primarily from polyvinyl chloride resin with selected additives and stabilizers through extrusion and calendering processes. It is designed for waterproofing and seepage-control systems that require a flexible and heat-weldable membrane.

Typical applications include metro and railway tunnels, utility tunnels, basements, underground garages, civil-defense structures, artificial lakes, landscape ponds, reservoirs and dams. The membrane can also be used as an auxiliary protective barrier in selected landfill and solid-waste applications.

Key Features

Heat-weldable membrane

The thermoplastic PVC membrane is suitable for heat-welded overlaps to form continuous waterproofing joints between adjacent sheets.

High elongation

The supplied product specification defines an elongation at break of at least 200%, supporting applications where membrane flexibility is required.

Mechanical resistance

The product is designed for applications requiring resistance to tensile, tearing and puncture stresses within waterproofing systems.

Flexible structure

The membrane provides flexibility and extensibility to accommodate limited movement and deformation within the waterproofing system.

Broad waterproofing use

Suitable for tunnels, underground structures, hydraulic works, artificial lakes, reservoirs and other civil-engineering waterproofing applications.
